Terms of Service — BZ Timepieces

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of bztimepieces.com (the “Site”) and the services provided by BZ Timepieces (“BZ Timepieces,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, submitting an inquiry, requesting to buy/sell/trade a watch, purchasing a product, selling a product to us, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to these Terms.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company (“you” or “your”).

1) Eligibility and Scope
1.1 U.S. customers
The Site and Services are intended for users located in the United States. We may decline transactions outside the U.S.
1.2 Age requirement (18+)
You must be 18 years or older to submit inquiries, buy, sell, or trade watches through BZ Timepieces.
2) Services
BZ Timepieces provides services including, but not limited to:
Selling luxury timepieces (online listings, direct offers, and sourced inventory)
Buying luxury timepieces from customers (direct purchase offers)
Trade-in / trade transactions (where available)
Sourcing requests (helping you locate a specific watch)
Authentication support and condition disclosure (based on our review and available documentation)
Shipping, delivery coordination, and transaction processing
Customer support and order management
Specific products, pricing, availability, and transaction terms may be communicated via the Site, invoice, written confirmation, email, or message. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a written invoice/confirmation for a specific transaction, the written transaction confirmation controls for that transaction.
3) Inquiries, Transactions, and Customer Responsibilities
3.1 Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information in inquiries and during checkout (including your name, email, shipping address, and any other details needed to complete a transaction).
3.2 Buying from BZ Timepieces (customer purchases)
If you purchase a watch from us, you agree to:
Pay the stated price and any applicable shipping/handling and taxes
Provide a valid shipping address and receive delivery
Comply with any verification we require to prevent fraud (e.g., identity verification or payment verification)
We may refuse or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, unauthorized payment activity, or other risk.
3.3 Selling to BZ Timepieces (customer sales)
If you submit a watch for sale or accept an offer from us, you represent and warrant that:
You are the lawful owner of the watch and have the right to sell it
The watch is not stolen and is free of liens/encumbrances
Any information you provide about the watch is accurate (authenticity, condition, parts, service history, box/papers, etc.)
You are responsible for safely packaging the watch and following shipping instructions we provide. We may reject a watch upon inspection if it materially differs from what was represented.
3.4 Trade transactions
Trades are handled on a case-by-case basis. Any trade value, additional payment due, and shipment sequence will be confirmed in writing before completion.
4) Product Listings, Condition, and Availability
4.1 Condition and descriptions
Luxury watches may show wear, patina, or age-related characteristics. We strive to describe condition accurately, but:
Photos may appear different depending on lighting and screens
Minor variations may exist between photos and in-hand appearance
4.2 Availability and errors
Inventory availability can change quickly. We reserve the right to correct listing errors (including pricing, descriptions, or availability) and to cancel orders if necessary.
5) Authentication, Third-Party Verification, and Disclosures
5.1 Authentication efforts
We take reasonable steps to verify authenticity using inspection, documentation, serial/reference checks where possible, and industry best practices. However, authentication is not an absolute guarantee, especially for heavily modified items or sophisticated counterfeits.
5.2 Aftermarket parts / modifications
Some watches may include aftermarket components (e.g., straps, bezels, dials) or may have been polished/serviced. If we are aware of material aftermarket modifications, we will disclose them.
6) Pricing, Taxes, Payments
6.1 Prices
All prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.
6.2 Taxes
Applicable sales tax may be collected based on destination and applicable law.
6.3 Payment processing
We may use third-party payment processors. Your payment may be subject to their terms in addition to these Terms.
7) Shipping, Risk of Loss, and Delivery
7.1 Shipping
Shipping options, costs, insurance (if applicable), and signature requirements may be shown at checkout or in your transaction confirmation.
7.2 Risk of loss (customer purchases)
Unless otherwise stated in writing, risk of loss transfers to you upon confirmed delivery to the shipping address provided.
7.3 Shipping watches to us (customer sales/trades)
When sending a watch to us, you are responsible for:
Packaging securely and following our shipping instructions
Using insured shipping with tracking (unless we provide a label with stated coverage)
Risk of loss remains with you until we confirm receipt.
8) Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
8.1 24-hour inspection window (returns)
BZ Timepieces offers a 24-hour inspection window on eligible purchases unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific transaction.
To request a return under the inspection window:
You must notify us of your intent to return within 24 hours of confirmed delivery (based on the carrier delivery timestamp).
The watch must be shipped back within 24 hours after delivery (based on the carrier acceptance scan), using our return instructions.
The watch must be returned in the same condition as received, with all included items (box, papers, accessories, links, hang tags, etc., if applicable).
Important: Any resizing, wear, damage, modification, attempted repair, removal of protective stickers (where applicable), or missing items may make the return ineligible.
8.2 Return authorization required
All returns require authorization from BZ Timepieces. Contact [email protected] to request return instructions. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
8.3 Refund timing; inspection required
Refunds are issued only after we receive the returned watch and complete an inspection confirming it is returned in the same condition as delivered and with all included items. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, subject to payment processor timelines.
8.4 Return shipping and fees
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, insurance, and packaging.
Original shipping/insurance fees (if any) may be non-refundable to the extent not recoverable by us.
If we incur additional costs due to return issues (e.g., missing items, damage, or tampering), we may deduct those costs from the refund where permitted by law or pursue recovery.
8.5 Non-returnable situations
The inspection return policy does not apply to:
Final sale items clearly marked as final sale
Custom or special sourcing orders where stated as non-refundable/non-returnable
Watches that have been altered, resized, worn, damaged, or otherwise not in the same condition as delivered
8.6 Cancellations
Order cancellations may not be possible once payment is processed and fulfillment begins. If cancellation is approved, payment processor fees and shipping costs may be non-refundable.
8.7 Chargebacks and disputes
If you have an issue with an order, you agree to contact us first at [email protected] and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized or bad-faith chargebacks may be treated as a breach of these Terms.
9) Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to:
Break any law or regulation
Attempt unauthorized access, scraping, or interference with Site operation
Submit false information, impersonate others, or engage in fraud
Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
We may suspend or restrict access for violations.
10) Intellectual Property
The Site, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and other content, is owned by or licensed to BZ Timepieces and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
User-submitted content (e.g., messages, images of your watch you send us) remains yours, but you grant us a limited license to use it to evaluate inquiries, facilitate transactions, and provide customer support.
11) Disclaimers
11.1 No guarantees
We do not guarantee availability, future pricing, investment performance, appreciation, or resale value.
11.2 “As is” / “as available”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
BZ Timepieces will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total liability arising out of or related to the Site or Services will not exceed the total amount paid by you to BZ Timepieces for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.
13) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BZ Timepieces (and its owner, contractors, and agents) from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
Your breach of these Terms
Your fraud, misrepresentation, or unlawful conduct
Any allegation that a watch you sell/trade to us is stolen, counterfeit, or encumbered
Your violation of applicable law
14) SMS/MMS Messaging and Calling Terms
This section applies when you provide a phone number to BZ Timepieces, interact with our forms/widgets/chat, or otherwise consent to receive calls or text messages from us.
14.1 Description of SMS/Call use cases
We may send SMS/MMS messages and/or place calls for:
Responding to your inquiry or request
Scheduling/confirming transactions, shipping, or appointments
Service-related notices and customer support
Message frequency varies.
14.2 Opt-out (STOP)
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. You may receive a final confirmation message.

15) Changes to the Site and Terms
We may update the Site, Services, and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes apply prospectively.
16) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
16.1 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
16.2 Informal negotiation first
Before filing a claim, the parties agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution.
16.3 Arbitration; class action waiver
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration, not in court, except where prohibited by law.
You and BZ Timepieces agree disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a class, collective, or representative action.
Arbitration location: South Carolina (unless required otherwise by law)
Arbitrator authority: may award relief only necessary to resolve the individual claim
17) Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms and any written transaction confirmation constitute the entire agreement.
Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign in connection with a business transfer.
Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
